CMKL University is a joint collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University and King Mongkut?s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, a leading engineering university in Thailand, for the dual-degree graduate programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE). Our students spend time on the Carnegie Mellon campus in Pittsburgh, USA, and on the CMKL campus in Bangkok, Thailand, giving them the best of both worlds by combining the East and West. Aspiring engineers are choosing to study ECE to take a deep dive into various research areas leading to rewarding careers. The median income for the 2021 ECE M.S. and Ph.D. graduates at Carnegie Mellon is US$127,800.


CMKL?s University provides students with local industry visits, equipping graduates with real-world problem-solving skills and feedback from industrial partners. CMKL University offers various research possibilities. For example, the Porjai application has served as a bridge to help users understand the various dialects of Thailand. Currently, our goal is to make the model recognize local dialects and assist users unfamiliar with technology in accessing an e-commerce platform.
