MSC Marks 10th Anniversary of "Old Calendars Wanted" Project with Calendar Donation Handover
Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited (MSC) has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices by continuing its beloved
“Old Calendars, we ask for The Blind” initiative
(MSC Green Office) for the tenth consecutive year. The program reflects the company's enduring dedication to corporate social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and creating meaningful opportunities for vulnerable communities.
This year's handover ceremony saw
Ms. Kamonwan Sarpanich, AVP of Commercial Operation , present a collection of used desk calendars generously donated by
MSC employees to the
Educational Technology Center for the Blind, operated by the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. The donated calendars will be transformed into teaching materials and Braille calendars, which will then be distributed to visually impaired individuals across the country. The ceremony took place on February 24, 2026.
As a core pillar of the
MSC Green Office program,
“Old Calendars, we ask for The Blind” champions effective in-house waste management through the lens of the Circular Economy, giving used resources a renewed sense of purpose through reuse. Over its ten-year journey, the initiative has been met with remarkable enthusiasm and participation from employees at every level a true testament to the deeply rooted culture of generosity and environmental consciousness that defines the spirit of MSC.
